About the founder
The DJ Calendar was built by Bryan Hamilton, a solo developer and electronic music fan based in New Jersey. What started as a personal spreadsheet of DJ tour dates grew into something larger after Bryan realized no single source tracked where the world's biggest DJs were actually playing — not in real time, not in one place, and certainly not with venue guides, setlists, and a live global map.
Over the course of 2026, he built the entire platform himself — from the tour data pipeline that syncs with Bandsintown and Ticketmaster, to the SEO infrastructure that puts show pages in front of fans searching for their favorite artists. The site now tracks 99 of the DJ Mag Top 100 across 496 cities, with features that didn't exist on any other EDM directory: animated tour routing maps, live Pulse statistics, a curated setlist database, and city-versus-city showdown pages.
The contact list that launched the site's outreach was built the hard way — manually, over years, by reaching out to DJ management one email at a time, long before the website existed. That same list now lives inside the platform, powering direct relationships between the site and the industry it covers.
Bryan continues to develop The DJ Calendar independently, focused on building the most comprehensive EDM tour resource on the internet — for fans, for the industry, and for anyone who's ever wondered where their favorite DJ is playing next.
