July 17, 2026 — Boom, Belgium — Tomorrowland Belgium 2026 opened its gates on Friday with 14 DJ Mag Top 100 artists performing across the festival's first official night, marking the start of a sold-out two-weekend run at the recreatiedomein in Boom.
The opening night lineup drew from across the electronic music spectrum — big-room, techno, house, and bass — with sets running from early evening into the early hours across the festival's 15+ stages.
Opening Night by the Numbers
14 tracked artists from the DJ Mag Top 100 performed on opening night, according to live tour data logged on The DJ Calendar. 37 total DJ sets are scheduled across the full Weekend 1 (July 17–19), making this edition one of the most densely booked in the festival's recent history.
The busiest single stage based on trackable data was the Mainstage, which hosted Steve Aoki, John Summit, Vintage Culture, The Chainsmokers, Nicky Romero, R3HAB, Korolova, and Sara Landry across the day.

Stage Highlights
The Freedom Stage hosted ARTBAT and Miss Monique, while the Library stage featured a rare intimate appearance from R3HAB. The Atmosphere stage saw Nico Moreno and Marlon Hoffstadt deliver techno sets that drew capacity crowds.
Nervo performed on Weekend 1 only, with their July 17 appearance the first of their two booked slots. Mike Williams and ARTBAT both played opening night sets that extended past midnight.
What to Watch — July 18
Day 2 of Weekend 1 brings 15 additional acts including Afrojack, Keinemusik, Lucas & Steve, Maddix, Nora En Pure, Oliver Heldens, Plastik Funk, Quintino, Bassjackers, and Deborah De Luca. Weekend 2 (July 24–26) will carry a separate lineup.
Weekend 2 Already Building
While Weekend 1 is underway, planning for Weekend 2 is already active on The DJ Calendar with additional artist bookings and stage assignments expected to solidify in the coming days. The Freedom Stage and Library Stage are expected to rotate programming between the two weekends.
